At Bloom we offer a range of effective therapeutic treatments to help overcome thoughts or feelings that commonly hold people back from achieving a happy and productive life.

We specialise in using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which is a form of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Rob) and hypnotherapy (Amelia) combined with our expertise in psychology.

At the core of all our treatments are three elements:
1. They are evidence-based so you can be reassured of their effectiveness.
2. They are brief therapies, generally between 1 – 4 sessions but they have long-lasting and often life-changing results.
3. They have no negative side effects and are in fact positive, relaxing and energising.

In general the problems we help people come under one of four categories:

1. Health and Wellbeing
- Stress and anxiety
- Breaking habits such as stopping smoking or nail biting
- Weight loss and healthy eating
- Insomnia

2. Performance Enhancement
- Public speaking and presentations
- Self-confidence
- Handling meetings
- Interview skills
- Exam performance
- Concentration and motivation

3. People skills
- Assertiveness
- Managing relationships/conflict/bullying

4. Phobias
- Fear of flying
- Fear of animals e.g. spiders or birds

Further Information
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is a form of cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). Numerous ACT studies support its efficacy in treating anxiety, depression, workplace stress, and burnout (Ciarrochi & Bailey, 2008).

Hypnotherapy is a brief therapy, usually involving no more than 3 or 4 treatments. It is a relaxing experience and has no negative side-effects. The only requirement for successful treatment is a desire to change. We see incredible results with clients over and over again. See what people say about us.
