At Bloom we combine Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (Rob) and hypnotherapy (Amelia) with psychology to bring about swift and long-lasting change for a wide range of difficult thoughts and feelings.
Uniquely, we combine our expertise in occupational psychology with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and hypnotherapy to bring about impressive improvements in work-related issues such as performance (e.g. for interviews, exams, career progression), difficult working relationships, low self-esteem, stress, low self-confidence, poor motivation or anxieties regarding change.
We also successfully treat people with phobias and fears (e.g. flying, birds, spiders), habits (e.g. smoking, nail biting, over-eating, anger), relationship problems, sleep and relaxation difficulties.
ACT is a form of cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). Numerous ACT studies support its efficacy in treating anxiety, depression, workplace stress, and burnout (Ciarrochi & Bailey, 2008).
Hypnotherapy is a brief therapy, usually involving no more than 3 or 4 treatments. It is a relaxing experience and has no negative side-effects. The only requirement for successful treatment is a desire to change. We see incredible results with clients over and over again.
