Dr Amelia Wise, PhD, C. Psychol, MSc, BSc (Hons), Dip Hyp, GQHP
Amelia is a chartered psychologist and leading expert in Career Psychology, specialising in career change, finding purpose at work and overcoming work difficulties. She is also developing the combined use of applied psychology and hypnotherapy to overcome career-related problems.
Following an earlier career as a television and video producer, Amelia became a Psychologist. After gaining an MSc in Organisational and Occupational Psychology and a PhD in Psychology at the University of Surrey she began working with psychology consultancies and private clients. She has pioneered psychology research on career change at thirty-something and her work is published in ‘Career Development International’.
Amelia is also an experienced trainer, having initially coached senior executives in media and presentation skills, and then running outplacement courses. She now designs and delivers many of the Bloom Life courses as well as seeing individual clients for Bloom Career and Bloom Mind programmes.
Amelia co-founded Bloom Psychology to provide a unique set of integrated services that make a real difference to people’s lives.
